Set Design n.2
The morning of the shoot day we sorted all the lighting, and tried different options to have different effects, making the set as realistic as possible.
By the door way we used a blu gel light to recreate the impression of day light and hope towards the viewers and the protagonist as it will show, the only way out.
This light was positioned at the back of the set in the back right cone, using a blue filter, the light seemed lighter but settle.
We also used four light bulbs to have a dull light and create a dark lighting effect.
At the start we wanted to use more we thought as the room is small, having just four lights will increases the perspective of claustrophobia.
for close up we used a separate light bulb to move around and adjust the lighting to have a clear view of every details presented in the frame. Lighting was changed through out the actual camera it self changing the setting in it, to make it look brighter, for some shots we turned the brightness up to the maximum, as we learnt that is better having brighter frame than too dark as it will easier through out the editing process to change the shot, if too bright.
