Something’s Gonna Happen
This will respect the
digipack, as well as the marketing campaign (website). The image that will be
transmitted through the video will respect the artist personality and style,
making a clear first impression of the type or artist, person and music.
My inspiration comes
from pinup and tattoos; this came up by mixing the idea of the 60 and modern
days. The main colours will be red, black and white, three strong colours that
will a defined look to the website.
For the digipack I
thought a plain background could be use and as main figure a cartoon/tattoo
version of the main singer. The picture could be presented in full figure or
silhouette, possibly just the drawing of her face with typical make up and heir
styled could be transmitting strong feelings and genres of music to the
customers.

The font I think it
should definitely be curved, as it will reclaim the idea of vintage, for
example old letter writing but clearly readable. I believe that the thickness
will change the message of the song, if the writing will be thin maybe a more
feminine idea will be transmitted, however a bolder font could increase the idea
of a tattoo and done with black ink could be more visible and outstanding.

The website design
will respect the artist but I believe it’s better if it differentiate from the
digipack as one incorporated within the webpage, it won’t stand out enough fro
the customers to be involved to buy it and listen to the song.
I choose this style as
it will respect the theme in the music video, but also it is a lot different
from what we see nowadays, making the digipack standing out, and hopefully draw
more attention and curiosity to listen to the song and knowing more about the
artist.
