We had the lighting
specialist that came and talked us through about the different types of lights
and effects, we can obtain and use for our music video, remaining low budget
but with a high quality.
We have learnt that
depending onto the lighting the studio (as the main structured used) needs to
be adapted (for example black or white background) also the colour temperature
is crucial as it needs to be the same for the camera as well as the lighting to
enhance the location. So lighting are more adaptable as they can move and you
can change the lighting shape (bigger/smaller, make it spin or move) as well as
colour, giving you a wider verity of options, however the simpler the lighting
the better as more as a realistic result and professional as a final result.
The lighting can be
crucial for any music video as well as pictures as it can transform something so
simple into amazing or exactly the opposite. I felt really lucky as
our school is able to provide us highly qualified technician and the equipment required
to obtain the best result possible, remain low budgeted.
