Location

For our music video we had to sort out the location as it became a crucial part of it once we decided to cut down all the studio work into a single location, and rely everything onto it if it was going to be good enough, giving a sense of continuity through out the whole video and adding something different innovative to the whole idea, enhancing the indie pop vibes.
Hannah during the weekend went to see a friend’s house that is in construction phase, so it’s half destroyed and abandon, her friend is willing to lent the house to us for our shooting day in November as it is not far from school, transport won’t be a big deal.

However as the house is actually being built by November it may not look like as it is currently ad the whole ruined look, may be lost by end of this month, creating some issues as it would look like a normal house, but overall the location can be confirmed as we will have electricity able to use, big open space with lots of lighting coming through, and empty rooms.
The appeal and look of the house is what we were looking.

Harvey also last weekend found a back up location, situated an hour from school so a bit further away, however this is an actual house however ready to be knocked down for its old style. This means that we could completely trash it, even thought it would take up so much time, and in this house there is a heated up pool that we could use for extra shots.
The rooms as completely empty give some weird feelings, adding something to the location, by also extra rooms and possible location where we could shoot it give us more innovation for the shooting and we could also plan elements to be incorporated within the music video to make more interesting.
This location will remain a back idea as we are convinced about are first one, but it’s good to have aback up plan in case anything goes wrong, in few weeks time.
