Digipak

From the focus group feedback, as a group we have all agree about the changes to be made, related to the artwork. As now I have a base of the product I know what appeals to the audience, making the editing process straightforward. As a group we reviewed the main representative elements for our artist as a reminder of what we are looking for and the style to be designed around all three products, youth, rebellious, cool and stylish.

Harvey and me have looked for less formal font to use across the two products, and we ended up choosing for FUTURA, and change all the writing into capital. I clear the back page of the digipak making clean and with less distraction.

I then thought about a possible background that could portray all the representation of our main artist previously mentioned. I found marbling a good solution as colour changing its saturation I change the scheme colour to green, main element the shows continuity across all three products.

As a group we all liked the idea of a collage, so add a playful feeling to the art work, so I took a picture taken in the shoot and turned it into black and white. Removing its background I overlaid the two layers, ending up with the current effect.
I then added the title and name of the artist following the same font, Futura and using different colours to separate the two names and making it more clear for the audience.

For the inside of the digipak I decided to follow the themed started in the front cover, using a different marble with the same scheme colour across the panels.
The final effect is better than the previous version, however not finishes this product need further finalisation to be completed, concentrating onto the detail and the overall artist image
