In today media’s
lesson we discuss further more our ideas, coming up with a solid first idea and
concentrating more into the details of the music video, for example costumes
for the main singer and the dancers’ , all those information clarify and added
onto the video are put into a PowerPoint that we started in class to the
present to the Luke in a couple of days, the presentation will be as visual as
possible to even show what we actually have in mind, making it more
interactive, easier for the teachers and showing high organisation.
We are pretty
confident with the first idea as we already have a possible casting that agreed
to be part of our project, and we all feel positive towards them as actors and
dancers can pull of a certain decent performance, also we all know each
individual making possible changes of the performance easily done.
However, we still had
to come up with a back up idea in case of a let down of our main one, so while
me and Hannah tried to develop a different idea Harvey was working onto the
PowerPoint, so the second idea follows a street style, and it will include a
band performing in the studio with black background and some colour big block
made of paper that would be hanging to create contrast and movements. The next scene
will be located in an abandon building and a dancer performing in it, towards
the end the editing process will play its part by keep switching from the two.
This idea is not as
strong as our first as we haven’t planed it as detailed but the basic idea is
there. Through out the planning process we have looked at some music video that
inspired us for set, location and performance, creating a new music video, also
giving us a clearer ide of what it could look like.
